Nick Cave's son Jethro Lazenby has died aged 30, the musician said today - seven years after the star's 15-year-old son Arthur fell to his death from a cliff in Brighton. Jethro, who lived in Melbourne, had been released from prison on bail two days before he died, having been jailed for kneeing his mother in the face during a row over cigarettes - leaving her 'bruised and bleeding'. 'With much sadness, I can confirm that my son, Jethro, has passed away,' Cave said in a statement this afternoon. 'We would be grateful for family privacy at this time.' The Australian singer, best known as the frontman of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, was first struck by tragedy in July 2015 when Arthur fell 60ft to his death from a cliff in Ovingdean, near Brighton. The 15-year-old, described by his family as a 'beautiful, happy, loving boy', had been taking the hallucinogenic drug LSD, an inquest later heard. Jethro was born to his Melbourne-based model mother Beau Lazenby in 1991, who was in a relationship with Cave at the time. He himself largely worked as a model, while also taking on a number of acting roles. He was released on bail from Melbourne Remand Centre on Thursday after a magistrate ordered he undergo substance abuse treatment and avoid contact with her for two years.

Two Americans who died at a Bahamas resort were identified Monday as Michael Phillips, 68, and his wife Robbie Phillips, 65. The third was previously identified as Vincent Paul Chiarell, 64, of Florida. His wife Donnis, found him Friday morning not moving and discovered that she was also paralyzed. She was then airlifted to a hospital in Florida, where authorities say she remains in critical condition. The cause of their sudden deaths remains unknown, and Bahamian officials are now sending samples extracted from their bodies and their rooms to a Philadelphia lab for a toxicology test to determine whether any contaminants were present when they died. Another guest had previously blamed a leaky air conditioner for their deaths.

Anthony Melendez, 35, was detained on Sunday and charged with assault, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon following Wednesday's wild attack on a 52-year-old man. Melendez appeared to have left his phone on the ground and his headphones splayed across the platform, and as Angel Trujillo walked by they exchanged words before Melendez then slashed him with a boxcutter. The two began to fight, and Trujillo threw a jacket at Melendez, as a means of self defense. A grocery cart of Melendez's possessions was knocked over. The pair wrestle their way up the platform as bystanders back away, then when Trujillo begins to flee Melendez tackles him and they both topple over the edge of the platform and onto the subway tracks below. Trujillo required stitches to the face and chest after the attack.

A group of women stormed a McDonald's Philadelphia and began attacking the kitchen staff after exchanging words with a worker at the drive-thru when she told the cackling posse not to call her a 'ho.' The viral video posted to World Star captures the moment the driver leans over to hand the worker at the drive-thru payment for their order and punches her instead. The driver yells expletives at the worker and announces to her posse, 'we going in' as she shuts the door and drives off. The video resumes showing the women - who are still cackling - inside the McDonalds kitchen throwing food and throwing punches at workers.

A furious Chris Paul was seen confronting a Mavericks fan who was ejected for alleged verbal and physical altercations with the Suns star's family during Phoenix's playoff loss in Dallas on Sunday. Dave Fane, the creator of animated TV series Bro'Town, appears in Harry's five-minute video as a 'rating agent' who ambushes the British royal as he jogs through California, which doubles as the backdrop for New Zealand woodland. It has now emerged that the 56-year-old comic came under fire for making a string of allegedly racist and homophobic comments at the inaugural Radio Roast in 2010. Lavonne Phillips, of Bartow, (inset) was sitting at Circle B Bar Reserve in Florida when she heard an eight-foot alligator climbing over a fence (main). She said she didn't even notice the gator until she heard a 'heavy chomping sound' and had even walked past it. 'I didn't actually spot the big gator, that's the scary part. I had my back turned to the opposite side of the bridge,' she said. The alligator managed to climb the fence in 20 seconds and landed face-first into the murky swamp. It was later found hiding under a bridge and hissing, but did not attack humans. Alligators can climb almost anything, including staircases and ladders and can even jump five feet. Florida is home to around 1.3million gators.

It will focus on the development of Ultimate Mobility Vehicles (UMVs), including a car with legs that can simply walk over anything it struggles to drive over. The South Korean firm previously showcased designs for UMVs at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in 2019. The Elevate concept, which resembles the All Terrain Armoured Transport (AT-AT) walkers found in the Star Wars universe, combines a traditional wheel with a leg that unfolds for dangerous terrain.
